Will Thomas and the Will Thomas Motorsports Team will open their 2010 racing season on Saturday, April 17th at the Toledo Speedway. The team will compete in the ASA North Late Model portion of the Late Model doubleheader. The 125 lap feature event is expected to draw drivers from six states and Canada.

“The team and I are really excited about starting our year early at Toledo. We are hoping to continue and build on the success we had in 2009,” stated the personable Sharpsville, PA driver. Thomas, who is the two-time and defending Lake Erie Speedway Late Model Champion, will compete against current Toledo track record holder Eddie Hoffman as well 2009 ASA North Rookie of the year Josh Nelms, and Mid-Western stars Brandon Watson, Jim Duchow, Anthony Danta. “This event will definitely provide us with the opportunity to compete against the premier teams from the Mid-West and Canada,” continued Thomas. “Our team has worked hard throughout the winter and we are looking forward to a solid performance as we open the 2010 season.”
